The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) program at Shree Dronacharya (P.G.) College, Dankaur, has been conducted in a structured and systematic manner since the academic session 2005–2006. Offered under the Department of Teacher Education, the program operates as part of the college’s self-financed scheme and is affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut. It is duly approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
This graduate-level professional training program is delivered by a team of highly qualified and experienced faculty members, who have been at the forefront of teacher education since the program's inception. The department maintains an approved intake capacity of 100 students per session, ensuring quality education through focused attention on each learner. Beyond delivering academic content, the Department of Teacher Education emphasizes the holistic development of future educators. Student-teachers are actively engaged in a wide range of co-curricular and extracurricular activities, including: Cultural Programs, Psychological Testing and Analysis, Audio-Visual Teaching Aid Development, Scouting and Guiding, Sports and Physical Education Activities, Awareness and Outreach Initiatives. The college regularly hosts workshops, seminars, and community service programs in collaboration with external organizations to enhance practical learning and professional development. A highlight of the B.Ed. curriculum is the annual 5-day Scout & Guide Camp, conducted by certified trainers. This camp is designed to foster patriotism, discipline, leadership, and teamwork—key attributes of effective educators. The Department of Teacher Education at Shree Dronacharya (P.G.) College has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to academic excellence and institutional integrity.
